Hotel Chesscom - Budapest

Almost everything. The staff was kind, rooms spacious and clean, breakfast good, price low. Hotel is located a bit far from the city center but the metro station is very close so you can reach the center in 20 minutes. On the other hand it is close to the highway - good to those coming by car as we did.

Light in the rooms could be better.

It was really cheap and situated near to a metro station unfortunately it was closed for renovation or something. we had to take a replacement bus to the next station which was very inconvenient. good thing was there was air-conditioning in the room.

it was way too far out from the city, and breakfast tasted pretty terrible.

Very friendly and English speaking staff. Service that kept our rooms clean. Very tasty and varied breakfast. Localisation is very good - 200 meters to the metro station and direct connection to the airport (12 minutes by bus). If I ever visit Budapest next time I will stay in this hotel for sure.

Very Nice and Kind staff, good design of the room and of all the structure, good breackfast. It is not in the city center which is reachable in 20 minutes by trolley bus. I warmly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was on high level for this type of the hotel. The stuff are very kind and all of them are speaking English. Hotel is near metro station(500 m), and you need 15 minutes to reach downtown.

Pleasant stuff, low price, goof value for many, near airport, near metro and bus station. If you want, they will gard your car for ~ 1.5EUR per day.

Nice and clean room and bathroom. Very nice and helpful staff. There is a small bar and a good breakfast available. Good for air travelers, the hotel is situated in the end station of the airport bus and the blue metro line. We will definitely stay there again.

Staff were very helpful and provided a good meal even though very close to closing time, after we arrived late

Bardzo mily personel, duze i bardzo czyste pokoje, szybki internet, prywatny parking, duze i dobre sniadania, szybkie polaczenie z centrum (very nice staff, big and very clean rooms, fast internet connection, private parking, big and tasty breakfasts, very good transport (subway) to the very center of the city)

The staff spoke English and were nice. There is free parking. I was satisfied with the wake up call service. Easy checkin/checkout. Cheap Vietnameses restaurant. Close to the airport (8mins by car). The hotel is a very good choice for a low budget trip to Budapest.

hotel staff was great,helpfull and all speak english very well.place is ideal for staying few days if you need to go to airport (especialy if you came by car and need to leave the car in the hotel,becouse they have a parking in the backyard).first station of the metro is very near the hotel so you can be at the center in 20min.you must try dinner in the restoran (open till 22h),GREAT oriental food at realy,REALY low prices of food or drinks.if you need a shuttle service to airport they can aranged that also.wi-fi free,at least 50 chanels on tv etc...

new rooms in the hotel is realy good,but the old part is not so bad either.

First off all I liked the ladies at the reception, than the quiet location and the atmosphere.
